Gym, Building #63 at Jefferson Barracks-VA
Join us in Tower Grove Park for the first annual Gateway PVA 5k and 1 Mile Run/Walk/Roll. It is going to be a fun way to help support the needs of paralyzed veterans throughout the Gateway area. Each participant will get a T-shirt and compete for a top three medal in the following age groups. 12 and under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+ The 5k will be chip timed so you will be able to try and set an official personal best. From every member of the Gateway PVA, we hope to see you there!
Attorneys and notary publics will be in Building 52 to gather veterans’ information for medical and financial powers of attorney. This will work at non-VA and VA hospitals (everyone should have these documents). They will also have intake people to give information and sign veterans up with an attorney for wills and other civil matters (depending on your assets there may be a small fee).

We will be participating in the parade and have a free lunch afterwords. We will gather around 11am on Olive Street in downtown St. Louis, between Tucker (12th) and 13th. We finish the parade around Market and 20th Street and eat lunch there at Maggie O'Briens. We encourage you to park around that area and roll down to the parade starting point for us. For everyone that is in a manual wheelchair, there will be Gateway Air Force ROTC cadets that will help push you if you get tired.
