The Gateway Chapter of Paralyzed Veterans of America (PVA) is proud to announce the return of its Annual 5K & 1 Mile Run/Walk/Roll, a community-driven event dedicated to supporting the needs of paralyzed veterans in the St. Louis metro area and beyond.

This year’s event will take place in person at Tower Grove Park on Saturday, July 20, from 9 a.m. to noon, with virtual participation options available from July 5 through July 20. Participants of all ages and abilities are invited to join this inclusive celebration of fitness, community, and service.

Proceeds from the event will directly benefit Gateway PVA’s mission to enhance the quality of life for veterans with spinal cord injuries and diseases through advocacy, education, and adaptive programs.

Event highlights include:

• In-person and virtual 5K and 1-mile options.

• Medals awarded to top three finishers in each age group: 12 and under, 13–19, 20–29, 30–39, 40–49, 50–59, and 60-plus.

• Free event T-shirt for all participants registered by July 11.

• A family-friendly atmosphere with opportunities to connect and give back.
